Steve Gardner is a Senior Geophysical Advisor at Lago Petroleum Consulting with 34 years of experience in oil and gas exploration, exploitation and field development. He has completed numerous 2D and 3D seismic interpretation projects using the IHS Kingdom Suite, Transform TerraView, and GeoGraphix SeisVision.  Current areas of focus include the detailed analysis, multi-disciplinary integration, and interpretation of microseismic data.  His microseismic experience includes managing the data acquisition and analysis for downhole surveys as well as large buried arrays.  Mr. Gardner has significant experience in 2D and 3D Seismic processing, acquisition and interpretation, 2D and 3D pre-stack depth migration, seismic attributes for evaluating unconventional shale plays and fractured reservoirs, and the imaging of complex structural targets. He is skilled in investigating, adapting, and improving interpretation and exploration techniques. He has effectively coordinated large multi-disciplinary projects and has exceptional communication skills. His domestic experience includes the Bakken Play of North Dakota, the Marcellus Shale of Pennsylvania, and conventional exploration and development projects in Oklahoma, Texas (East, West, and South), and the Western Montana Foothills / Overthrust province. Internationally, Mr. Gardner has worked on projects from Indonesia, Algeria, Iraq, Australia, Bulgaria, Poland, and the Republic of Georgia. Previous positions include tenure with Texaco, Gulf Keystone Petroleum Algeria and Whiting Oil and Gas Corp. Mr. Gardner holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Akron and a Bachelor of Science degree in Geophysics from State University College of N. Y. At Fredonia. He is a member of SEG, AAPG, CSEG, RMAG, and DGS.
