Lago Petroleum Consulting is pleased to announce that Amanda Kohn has joined our team as a Geologist.
Ms. Kohn has eight years of experience spanning a variety of geoscience and program management roles, including positions with Schlumberger and Contour Resources. While at Schlumberger, Amanda was focused on delivering technical G&G support, consulting and training using the Petrel software suite. Petrel experience is centered on developing workflows from seismic interpretation to advanced geological modeling and volumetric calculations. At Contour Resources she developed new prospects and built earth models. Areas worked include conventional and unconventional plays in the Permian, DJ, Powder River, Mid-Continent and Williston Basins, as well as offshore Gulf of Mexico, the North Sea and West Africa.
Amanda holds both Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Geology from Kansas State University.
At Lago, she will be responsible for stratigraphic interpretation, 3D facies and petrophysical model construction, creation and restoration of balanced structural cross-sections, regional and prospect-scale mapping, exploration risk assessment, and petroleum system analysis.
