Dr. Lakings has 15 years of experience spanning a variety of geoscience and program management roles, including positions with Texaco Exploration & Production, Chevron, VAALCO, and Geovesi.

Roisin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Wales, a Master of Science degree in Applied Geophysics from the University of Birmingham, and a Ph.D. in Structural Geology from Duke University.

At Lago, she is responsible for 2D and 3D seismic interpretation and integration, fault and top seal prediction and analysis, fault framework mapping/validation, balanced structural cross-section construction and restoration, regional and prospect-scale mapping, exploration risk assessment, petroleum system analysis, and the sequence stratigraphy of deepwater basins.
